An informal meeting for LGBTQI+ people to chat about LGBTQI+ local histories, meeting places, public figures and contemporary communities and groups. We will also discuss ideas for walking routes informed by the LGBTQI+ landscape in Cambridge.

The meeting will be co-led by Ian Giles, Rachel Pimm and Paul Kindersley

This event is free, all LGBTQI+ people, friends and families are welcome. Booking is recommended

Meeting format
-Introduction
-Discussion — possible walking routes — sharing LGBTQI+ sites, places, histories
-Ideas for post-walk social events — suggestions for food, music, location…
-Reflections and feedback

This event is part of New Geographies, a three year project remapping the East of England based on local reflections and stories of unexplored or overlooked places. Initiated by the East Contemporary Visual Arts Network, coordinated by Wysing Arts Centre, and funded by Arts Council England's Ambition for Excellence fund.
