From the South: Cambridge Railway Station is well linked to London King’s Cross via a 45minute fast train. Slower (but cheaper) trains leave from London Liverpool Street.
From the North: Cambridge is best accessed via Ely or London.
Travel on the Morning: The Clinical School is located 1.6miles from Cambridge Railway Station. Please allow 10-15mins for a taxi ride. This should cost you less than £10. Alternatively, allow up to 40mins to walk from the station.
Unfortunately there is no official parking available. Hospital parking is available, in car parks 1 or 2. For more details, including costs please see: https://cuh.nhs.uk/finding-us/parking
. There is very limited free parking available on nearby residental roads- Look up 'Glebe Road' or 'Holbrook Road' on google maps which are located a ~15-20mins walk from the Clinical School.
Cambridge airport is located 3.4miles from the Clinical School. If you are taking a taxi, please allow up to 30mins for traffic in the morning.
We welcome students from all medical schools far and wide!!! Last year we welcomed students from as far as Scotland to join us on the day!
