Schools Connect is a student-run charity initiative that works with local schools to provide young people with free and high-quality weekly tutorial, literacy help and extra-curricular activities. Our aim is to provide support for students at local state schools in a safe, comfortable environment, encouraging both personal and educational development.
In 2018, we have 81 volunteers, working in 20 different projects across 5 schools. As we officially launch this initiative, with our community partners like Parkside Federation Academies and the Cambridgeshire Board for School Improvement, we would like celebrate the progress we have made, and the volunteers who make the change happen.
Please join us in the launch event and hear about our change-making story.
